Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner participates in the diagnosis, treatment and supportive care of pediatric patients with catastrophic disease, from initial diagnosis through terminal care, in the inpatient and ambulatory care areas. Collects, documents, and analyzes patient data; collaborates in the development and implementation of treatment protocols; coordinates patient care with ancillary clinical services; makes appropriate referrals to consulting medical staff; provides follow up to referring physicians; may orient or precept students and new staff. Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the institution.

Qualifications:
Current TN RN licensure and CPR certification. Must have MSN and Certificate of Fitness from the state of TN.

Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
