Pediatric Nurse Manager

Pediatric Nurse Manager needed for a large, teaching hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
This position reports to the Director of Pediatrics.  Responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of nursing care 24 hours a day for  a Pediatric ICU and general surgery unit with a strong emphasis on Cardio thoracic programs.  This position establishes the clinical direction for nursing care delivery, provides clinical supervision and is responsible for quality outcomes.  Also, develops, monitors and administers unit operating and capital budget.

Successful candidates must hold minimally a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Holds high degree of clinical expertise in specialty area being managed.  Minimum 3 years experience as clinical nurse to include one year of management.   
This individual must possess strong communication skills, leadership management, and counseling, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution and group process skills.
