Nursing Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Pediatric Nurse Practioner LaRabida Children's Hospital is nationally recognized for excellence in the care of children with chronic illness and victims of child abuse. We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has achieved, through education and experience, a high level of professional competence in a specialized field of nursing. Selected candidate will be responsible for augmenting the quality of patient care by working with nursing staff and other disciplines. To qualify, you must be a registered professional nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. Must demonstrate knowledge and clinical expertise in pediatric diabetes. A Master's degree in Nursing (is preferred) along with 3 to 5 years pediatrics experience to coordinate care for our in-patient and large out-patient population. Must possess knowledge of the research process and have the ability to implement it in a clinical setting. Eligibility for CDE certificate a must.
