Pediatrics Nurse Clinician
Provides direct nursing care, including but not limited to patients with infusion therapy, in the alternate site care setting. Evaluates the patient's/carepartner's skill to administer home infusion therapy, or other care, and the home environment where care will be provided. Educates patient and carepartner to safely administer infusion therapy or any other care. Develops and/or follows the plan of care developed for assigned patient caseload. May provide primary care for a specific caseload of patients, to include assessments, care planning, evaluation and education of patients and care partners, ongoing monitoring of patients response to therapy and any necessary communication to team members. Communicates appropriately with all members of the healthcare team regarding patient's condition, response to therapy, clinical progress and outcomes. Complies with all regulatory, professional and company policies and procedures. Participates in PI activities, staff meetings and inservices as directed by the Nurse Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
