Agreed, blighty63. It's sad that certain religions would look down on other people who can't procreate because of impotence or maybe a physical impairment.

Well, gibbon, seen as most religions view the act of sex as only a means of procreation only & not an act to get any pleasure from, any other form of sex that does not have procreation in mind is totally taboo for them & meaningless. Religion mostly takes a medieval approach to things & looks on life as a short & painful step to further spiritual enhancement on the other side after death, & not anything that one should gain any pleasure or happiness about whilst alive.

I agree. For myself I would rather gain knowledge than hold onto a belief that has no foundation or evidence for it or has been proven to be wrong.

Why do atheists care about religion? Not sure. I'm thinking real atheists don't care about religion. And... I've always wondered why the religious 'right' cares so much about what gay people do in bed...
