This is possibly the best scene in the history of Doctor Who.

Very true. The magic has gone. Also the sidekick Billie is a disgrace and a crime against humanity. That 'am I bothered' slag is also horribly miscast. The half cast negris is alright though. Davidson was the best. Then McCoy, then between McNaughten and Ecclestone. Less said about both Bakers and the old codger at the beginning the better. Tennant is too cheeky chappie for me and the suit with plimsols thing just looks embarrassing and already dated. It has become too tongue in cheek.

Is it me or that then BBC One controller Michael Grade "had in for" Colin Baker. Part me believed Peter should have stayed one season then again, Grade would have put the show on hiatus anyway or the production team imploded.

I belive that those who enjoy the 5th doctor enjoy his personality since well each doctor is simply different. I like all of them except the 1st two

Patrick was an amazing doctor, you should really watch he's episodes, it's like traveling with a scared little hobo that runs away hehe.

Has there ever been such a build up in suspense and sadness as this. An air of foreboding marbles this story.

I know everybody worships Tom Baker, but somehow I always liked Peter Davison much more. Not that TB was bad, but still...

Dunno, maybe because I can't stand Tom Baker in real life?

I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I don't like the new Doctor Who at all. Something of the magic has been lost since the days even upto this re-generation scene.
