In the episode's prior to this theres a lot of referances to a "Mr Saxon", who is running to be the new Prime Minister, it turns out that he was the master all along, which is why Martha knows his voice.

Roger Delgado for me was the greatest Master but many fans of the show now don't remember him. I agree about Jacobi being a class act, anyone who has seen I Claudius already knew that.

With all due respect to Anthony Ainley, Derek Jacobi is a better Master in five minutes than he managed in ten years. (Although his final appearance in Survival was excellent. Better late than never!) He's also a pretty swell Doctor too, as is plainly obvious from the rest of this episode.

EPIC SCENE.

Murray Gold pulled the music out of the hat.

I disagree, Russell T Davies has the used the programme to further his own Welsh agenda. After seeing the episode on 28/6/08 i finally realised the guy has ruined the values of the programme. Every second character is either gay or Welsh. I am all for promoting equality but this is going too far!

Davies has done great things for the Welsh community and the gay community for quite awhile. And as for the programme it's at it's finest and opens a whole new bright world for kids, adults, and old fans. And as a straight man myself Davies's programmes are groundbraking and brilliant. So go suck on something!

Nice and very intelligent. Its obvious you can't interact in an informed debate without using language like you do. I have my opinion, Davies has ruined the core values of the programme. A lot of Who fans can't wait till Steven Moffat takes over.
