With a world full of fools and people happy to celebrate their ignorance, THANK YOU James Burke, unfortunatly there are too few of your kind today, a man of inspiration whose every word makes me aspire for greater understanding of the world

Well Burke was into six degrees long before Bacon, though we have jokingly called kweb six degrees of Francis Bacon ;)

Hmmm... I wonder if Kevin Bacon is in the K-Web?
Seriously now, any proyect by the great James Burke is always welcome.

bringing us closer and closer to Neal Stephenson's book "The Diamond Age"

Yes, Royal Society (central to the new trilogy) is well represented in K-web; and Snow Crash got me interested in educational potential of VR as well.

James turned me on to History 18 years ago, and I've been ever grateful ever since

Thank you for posting this! I have been following James Burke's work since "The Day The Universe Changed" was first broadcast. I love how he ends this video...stating how important each one of us is to what the future will be.

Way cool! Stoked to see James burke again. One question?
Is this work to be made downloadable? That it might run uninterrupted, even with a slow internet connection?
And for we visually challenged, perhaps a larger screen size?
